Teen Life Ministries
Our purpose as a youth ministry is to transform teenagers into fruitful Christians by encouraging them in a personal walk with Christ. This transformation begins when a Teen accepts Christ as Savior. Following salvation, our goal is to surround them with the fellowship and support of other believing Teens. Then we begin to disciple them through Bible Studies, Sunday School, and one‐on‐one mentoring lessons. Last, our goal is for teenagers to be involved in some type of ministry within our church where they have the opportunity to use their gifts to influence the lives of other individuals.
What We Are Doing:
Two of our man focuses for 2009 are Discipleship and Service. In light of focus on Discipleship, we will soon be starting our Connection Group Ministry. Connections Group will divide then teens into small groups of five. These groups will be lead by adult mentors who have a desire to influence young people for God’s glory. It is our prayer, that the Lord uses this added level of discipleship to further impact our teenagers.
Our teens will also be given new opportunities to serve. They Will be trained and encouraged to serve in various ministries throughout the church. Their service will also be used as we reach out to our community through a variety of service projects.

- Host an “In Your House”. This takes place on the last Sunday night of each month.
- Sponsor a Teen for Youth Aflame/Mid‐Atlantic
- Provide food for a Youth Activity/Bible Study
- Sit in the Teen Section on Sunday Morning
- Pray for Teens
